Still Waiting
Let me breathe your branches
in October wind,
fall-colored streamers
on chill air.
Let me put my hand inside
your coat, orange with yellow patches,
and lay my face
against your chest.
Because I want to tell you something,
stand still, an autumn tree,
knowing what will likely come
but waiting.

Beautiful, Judy. Funny, I have a poem with the same title, but I'll be damned if I can find it right now.
Judy. I love this poem... Well written. It touched me.

Hi Jerry! so good to see you!
I alway like finding other artists who like sharing their creative soul. I plan to update and revive my blog gallery. My current gallery isn't as user-friendly as I'd like. btw, I'm old and forgetful...have we met before on a forum or the like?
Oh geez Jerry! I am Judy Clem. We used to know each other at the old Atlantic Online and I think you peeped in on us more than a few times at Nevada Chat before it shut down. I saw that you had a collaboration with Karin (Shisa) another good friend from those places. In fact I think you sent me a copy of one of your chapbooks back then too.
Oh, Judy! Of course! Please forgive me....Gosh, Nevada Chat....
Lots of stories with that experience, eh?
Shisa and I still keep in touch quite often.
Let's keep in touch...
